How to play Arrow sudoku
Arrow sudoku draws arrows from circled cells. The digit in the circle is the sum of the digits along its arrow.
Circles that add up.
The rules
- Classic rules apply: every row, column and 3×3 box holds the digits 1 to 9 once each.
- The digits along an arrow add up to the digit in its circle.
- Digits may repeat on an arrow, unless sudoku rules forbid it.
Where to start
- A circle can never be 1 or 2, and a long arrow needs a big circle. Start with the longest arrows.
- A circle holds 9 at most, so the cells on a two-cell arrow are 8 or less, and on a three-cell arrow 7 or less.
