How to play Even-Odd sudoku
Even-Odd sudoku marks some cells as even and some as odd. Fewer digits are given, and parity fills the gap.
Even and odd clues.
The rules
- Classic rules apply: every row, column and 3×3 box holds the digits 1 to 9 once each.
- Shaded squares hold even digits (2, 4, 6, 8). Circled cells hold odd digits (1, 3, 5, 7, 9).
Where to start
- A row with four shaded squares holds all four even digits there, so the rest of the row is odd.
- Every row, column and box has exactly four even and five odd digits. Counting the marks often settles a cell.
